Postgraduate diploma scholars need the following general requirements:
Masters students need:
- Your undergraduate performance in the discipline of study was at least a B grade.
- You have exhibited excellent research experience and any other additional training.

5. If you are an Advanced Diploma holder, then it should have a minimum of Upper Second Class. You need to have a Postgraduate Diploma and Secondary School Certificate.

6. Any other recognized professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, CSP, CIB, CMA, MCIM and so forth
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) applicants need:
UDSM application charges
You will need the following amount to complete the procedure:
- Tshs. 20,000 for domestic applicants applying for diploma and certificate programmes
- Tshs. 10,000 for domestic bachelor degree applicants
- USD 45 for undergraduate foreign students
- Tshs. 50,000 for local postgraduates
- USD 50 for international postgraduate scholars

8. Log in to the system: A link will be sent to the email you provided. Login to your inbox and click on it to sign in.
9. Complete your profile: You need to specify your application category, name as it appears on your certificates, citizenship, disability if any, and gender.
10. Pay application fee: Use the procedure for the same covered below.
11. Enter your academic qualifications: Add your index number and year, then choose the level and click on "Add sitting.”
12. Upload your certificates: They should be in a PDF format. Click on the Add button then choose the file from your local storage to upload it to the system.
13. Select your course: For Undergraduate, enter the courses you wish to undertake in the provided text boxes.
14. Enter your employment records: This step is only made for postgraduates who have work experience. Click on the Add button to complete the step.

15. Indicate your referees: This step is only available in the UDSM postgraduate registration form. Hence, it is only made for Masters, Ph.D., and advanced Diploma Scholars. Tap “Add Referees” and fill in their details appropriately.
16. Submission and declaration: Answer the question asked and declare that all the information you have submitted is correct. Tap on the Submit button.
You have now declared your candidature in the courses you chose. If you are among the UDSM selected applicants, the institution will inform you via your contact details. You can also head to their website to check for the list of enrolled students.
If you are among the admitted scholars, head to the ARIS UDSM portal to capture your details on the school database.
