Smash Mouth’s band manager Robert Hayes shared heart-shattering news that frontman Steve Harwell only has weeks to live as he fights for his health in hospice care. Harwell has reportedly reached the final stage of liver failure and currently resting at home and being cared for by his fiancé Esther Campbell and hospice care.
The celebrity manager added that Steve is surrounded by family and friends, urging fans to “respect Steve and his family’s privacy during this difficult time.”
He told TMZ that his friends and loved ones have been gathering to see him over the past few days.
Behind the life of glam, Steve Harwell has been fighting a bigger battle for a long time. As per reports, the All Star crooner has been suffering from alcohol abuse for years before developing liver problems which ultimately led to liver failure.
‘He’ll be Walking on The Sun”
