First Official Ocean's 8 Poster Released

With Hollywood in the midst of a reckoning with powerful, exploitative men, there's no better time to put women front and center in films—especially since women accounted for just 32 percent of all speaking roles in 2016.

Enter Ocean's 8, a fresh take on the Ocean's heist franchise, starring—wait for it—Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, Rihanna and Helena Bonham-Carter. We've been salivating over behind-the-scenes paparazzi shots and this incredible, coat-filled official cast photo all year, and now, finally, we have the first poster for the film, tweeted by Paulson this afternoon:

It features the film's stars lined up against a red background, each sporting sunglasses and a killer coat. The movie's clever tagline reads, "Every con has its pros," and Paulson captioned her tweet, "Get ready," as if we weren't already.

Bullock stars as Debbie Ocean, the estranged sister of Danny (played by George Clooney in the previous three Ocean's films), who gathers a team of expert cons—Lou (Blanchett), Daphne Kluger (Hathaway), Rose (Bonham-Carter), Nine Ball (Rihanna), Tammy (Paulson), Amita (Kaling) and Constance (Awkwafina)—to rob the Met Gala. Damian Lewis will play Debbie's ex and the heist's target, while Elle Fanning and James Corden also star.

The film recreated the Met Gala in the museum's Temple of Dendur after production donated $1 million to obtain use of the space. Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Katie Holmes, Zayn Malik, Hailey Baldwin, and a host of other celebrities are set to cameo.

Ocean's 8 hits theaters June 8, 2018, which is simply not soon enough.
